Emma helps people craft handmade funerals, where the work is shared out amongst family and friends. She works alongside you to shape a ceremony that is spacious and heartfelt and rooted in what mattered to your person. A handmade funeral makes space for grief, for gratitude, for storytelling, and for the fierce particularity of the life being honoured. These ceremonies allow families and communities to slow down, to remember together, and to shape a farewell that reflects the person who has died, their loves, their strangeness, their beauty, their belonging in this world.
Helen Martin
Helen Martin is a qualified independent celebrant experienced in supporting families with funerals and celebrations of life. She gathers spiritual, religious and cultural values into a ceremony of life and is comfortable in beginning to prepare and discuss before the passing away of your loved one.
Helen brings her years of experience as a forest school leader, geographer and teacher to her time with families; gently caring for their emotional needs and listening to their thoughts, bringing in their love of places and memories that have changed their lives, and will support their grieving process.
Sarah Weller
Sarah Weller is a certified Member of The Fellowship of Professional Celebrants, trained in both funeral and family based celebrancy. She is passionate about this valuable work and the significance that a well crafted ceremony can give to some of life's most important milestones. Honouring the milestones and transitions in life from birth, throughout life and into death, she crafts unique ceremonies that tell the stories of those involved, including funerals, memorial services, weddings, vow renewals and baby naming. She meets with people in person to gather information, discuss ideas and really get to know what is important to them; only then does she go to work to create something beautiful and meaningful.
