Death Doulas & End-of-Life Companions

People who offer practical, emotional, and sometimes spiritual support before, during, and after death — helping families as they navigate unfamiliar ground.

EMAIL ADDRESS??

Melissa Wall has been a certified Soul Midwife for five years, although the calling has been with her all her life.

Whispering in my memories of dying as a baby and then louder still after surgery that went wrong nine years ago. Although not life threatening, the life-changing experience woke me up and I embarked on a journey of deep self-reflection that included training with Felicity Warner at the Soul Midwives School.

Melissa's creative and community collaborative spirit, experience in assisting the elderly and those afflicted with dementia, farming background and work as a gardener have all lent themselves beautifully in the sacred work of dying.

Charlie Thomas

I offer emotional and spiritual support to people approaching the end of life, as well as their loved ones. My role is to walk alongside you with care, compassion and deep respect.

I provide a calm, non judgemental presence and companionship through the dying process. This may be gentle bedside vigils, or meaningful rituals that honour the individual, their beliefs, and the significance of this sacred transition.

My intention is to help people feel seen, heard and held, bringing comfort, connection and a sense of peace during one of life's most profound and difficult journeys.

With all my knowledge and skills in palliative care, I wish to help you along side the professional healthcare teams."
