Grief Support and Counselling
Practitioners, groups, and community spaces offering companionship and guidance in grief. Places where sorrow can be shared and witnessed, rather than carried alone.

Emma Collins
Emma has spent many years accompanying people whose lives have been turned upside down by loss, work shaped by her own learning after the death of her husband and deeply rooted in her long apprenticeship grief. She believes grief was never meant to be carried alone, that it needs witness, accompaniment and a place of honour at the table of our lives. She offers grief tending through 1:1 support and in small retreats at The House at the Edge of the Woods, Clanfield.
Emily Chiswell
Emily is an ecotherapist and community facilitator and one of the original seed sewers of A Home for Death & Dying. She is passionate about working with nature to create spaces for true and authentic communities & conversations that give the unsaid, unfelt and unwitnessed a home, with a particular interest in our current collective relationship with grief and death. She works predominantly from The Potting Shed, in amongst a working flower farm close to Hinton Ampner, as well as with Old Winchester Hill.

Befriend The End Group
Run by Melissa Wall, Befriend the End is a death and dying awareness group in New Alresford on the first Wednesday of every month at the town library. 2-3pm. Everyone is welcome. You can contact us at; contact@befriendtheend.co.uk
Death Cafe Bishops Waltham
Death Cafe is a free community space to come, connect, and start a dialogue about death and dying, over a cup of tea and cake.

We explore our thoughts, fears, experiences and curiosities around death. By bringing these conversations out of the shadows, we can reduce fear, deepen our appreciation for life, and build a healthier relationship with mortality.

There is no agenda, teaching or preaching. Simply honest conversations about death in a safe, respectful and supportive space.
Whatever your reason for attending, and whatever your walk of life, you're welcome.

Let's Talk About Loss
Let’s Talk About Loss supports young people aged 18-35 who are bereaved. Whoever you’ve lost, we are a safe space to talk about that loss in a fun, relaxed environment.
Beth French set up Let’s Talk About Loss after she lost her mum when she was 20. Her grief made her feel lonely and confused, so she set up Let’s Talk About Loss to create a space where grief wasn’t a taboo subject.
