Mollie Mcmillen
Mollie’s coffins are made to order for your loved one. This most significant vessel is truly sustainable and made with minimal impact on the land. Mollie turned to making willow coffins in response to her experience of making a sweet chestnut bark coffin at the request from a client.
Although her love of working with bark, the quantities needed for a coffin were not practical to hand harvest on this scale. Willow is perfectly suited to coffin making being pliable and strong when woven together. It was through this commission that she was moved to become part of the process of helping people in their grief.

She leads regular in-person and online workshops and retreats in which you can explore shrouds and support each other in making and having a shroud for yourself or for a loved one.
The Woollen Cwtch Company
The Woollen Cwtch Company makes British Wool coffins, shrouds and urns in a range of regional wools and fabrics that have been grown and processed entirely within the British Isles.
Founded by Eleanor Hunt in 2021 with the purpose of creating diversification opportunities for British farmers and their wool, re-establishing the use of British Wool within the funeral industry.
Woven Farewell
Founded by Sophie & Abbie and rooted in their personal experience with loss and renewal, Woven Farewell make eco coffins that are traditionally handcrafted using sustainable willow and biodegradable materials, and can be delivered across the UK.
It was born from a passion for creating meaningful eco coffins that honour both life and the environment. Their sustainable approach to funeral practices merges respect for tradition, craftsmanship, and the need for more personal farewells. They serve families seeking meaningful, sustainable alternatives to conventional options.​
Bella Couche
At Bellacouche, textile artist and maker Yuli Sømme lovingly creates earth-friendly organic felt funeral products and craft kits from the region’s organic and holistically managed wool flocks.
